Canadian Submarine RHP Jamie Shoub Joins California Post Grad for 2025-2026 Season

California Post Grad is excited to announce the signing of Jamie Shoub, a 2025 graduate and right-handed pitcher from Toronto, Ontario. Known for his unique submarine delivery and advanced training regimen, Shoub brings a distinct look and competitive edge to the CPG pitching staff.

Standing at 6’0”, 180 lbs, with a 3.3 GPA, Shoub features elite movement patterns on the mound and a relentless drive to improve. He trains with Tread Athletics, one of the premier pitching development platforms in the world, founded by Ben Brewster—former pro pitcher and author of Building the 95 MPH Body. Through Tread’s cutting-edge training methods, Shoub has fine-tuned his mechanics, pitch design, and body movement to maximize his effectiveness from a low arm slot.

“Jamie is a guy we’re really excited about,” said Casey Dill, Director of Baseball Operations. “He’s different—in a really good way. That submarine slot makes him tough to hit, and he’s committed to the process. Working with Tread Athletics shows that he’s taking every opportunity to elevate his game. He’ll be ready to compete as soon as he steps on campus.”

Head Coach Zack Novis added, “It’s not often you get a submarine arm who’s already polished and this bought into his own development. Jamie understands his body, he understands his role, and he’s going to be a real weapon out of our bullpen. We’re excited to help him take that next leap forward.”

With his rare delivery, elite pitch movement, and advanced training background, Jamie Shoub is poised to be a standout contributor at California Post Grad for the 2025-2026 season.
