Canadian Standout Hayden Robbins Joins California Post Grad for 2025-2026 Season
California Post Grad Baseball is excited to welcome Hayden Robbins, a 2025 graduate from Highland Secondary School in British Columbia, Canada, to the program for the upcoming season. A versatile athlete with the ability to play catcher, shortstop, and third base, Robbins brings elite defensive tools and a high academic profile to the CPG roster.
Standing at 6’1”, 170 lbs, Robbins possesses a strong arm and speed which makes him versatile threat to cover ground in the infield. With pop times consistently in the 1.8–1.9 range, he’s a major threat to opposing baserunners. He also brings a 3.90 GPA, showcasing his commitment on and off the field.
“Hayden is the definition of a utility guy who can really play,” said Zack Novis, Head Coach of California Post Grad. “He’s smooth at short, can get behind the plate and control a game, and he brings great energy wherever he is on the field. Players like Hayden make teams better because of their versatility and the way they show up every day.”
Casey Dill, Director of Baseball Operations, added, “Hayden is a special defender. He’s got advanced footwork, a strong arm, and high-level pop times that allow him to shut down the running game. What stands out even more is his maturity and academic excellence. He’s going to be a strong representative of what we’re building here at CPG.”
With the ability to contribute in multiple positions, a high baseball IQ, and a team-first mindset, Hayden Robbins is poised to make an immediate impact at California Post Grad in 2025.
