California Post Grad Signs Versatile Two-Way Athlete Dante Rodriguez for 2025-2026 Season

California Post Grad is excited to announce the addition of Dante Rodriguez, a 2025 graduate from Tokay High School (Acampo, CA). A true utility athlete, Rodriguez brings a high-ceiling skill set as a first baseman, right-handed pitcher, and outfielder to the CPG roster for the upcoming season.

Standing at 6’2”, 175 lbs, Rodriguez boasts a long, athletic build with plenty of projection remaining. At the plate, the right-handed hitter shows lift in his swing and has the potential to tap into more power as he continues to develop physically. Defensively, Rodriguez is smooth around the bag at first base and has the versatility to play the outfield as well.

On the mound, he works from a low-paced delivery and a loose ¾ arm slot, with a fastball that tops at 77 mph. He shows a natural feel for spin and shape with his off-speed pitches, including a sharp-breaking ball and a fading changeup.

“Dante is a high-upside player with a ton of tools,” said Casey Dill, Director of Baseball Operations. “He’s athletic, coachable, and already has the foundation to build on. As he continues to fill out and grow into his frame, he’s going to be a really exciting two-way guy in our program.”

Head Coach Zack Novis added, “What we like most about Dante is his potential. He’s just scratching the surface of what he’s capable of, and you can see there’s more in the tank—both on the mound and at the plate. We’re looking forward to developing him into a well-rounded player who can contribute in multiple ways.”

A strong student and dedicated athlete, Dante Rodriguez is set to make a big leap in his game at California Post Grad, with all the tools to become a difference-maker at the next level.
