Palm Springs, California: The California Post Graduate Baseball Program is thrilled to announce the commitment of Derrick Jones, a standout player from Soldotna, Alaska, to its roster for the 2024 season. Derrick's impressive performance both at the plate and on the mound during his high school career demonstrates his potential to make a significant impact on the team.

Derrick Jones, hailing from Soldotna, Alaska, was a key player for his high school program, showcasing his talent and versatility as both a hitter and a pitcher. With a batting average of .333 over his three years on varsity and over 200 at-bats, Derrick proved to be a consistent offensive threat, averaging over 15 stolen bases per year. On the mound, Derrick made 19 appearances, pitching 54.2 innings, recording 64 strikeouts, and finishing his high school career with a 3.07 ERA.
